RE-EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION

Tom Zsembik, Mad River Local School District Food Service Supervisor, will retire on July 31, 2026, and is seeking reemployment in the same position with Mad River Local School District beginning August 1, 2026. This topic will be discussed at a Public Hearing on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the regularly-scheduled May School Board Meeting to be held in the Mad River Local Schools Board Room in the Administrative Office building located at 801 Old Harshman Road, Riverside, Ohio 45431.

Each month, the district will honor one student from each of our elementary, middle schools, and Stebbins as “Mad River Students of the Month”. Students are chosen based on a display of exemplary behavior tied to PBIS and PAX character traits including friendliness, responsibility, kindness, respect, and citizenship. Recognized students will have their photos taken and shared on our Facebook page and website. They will also receive a certificate of their achievement.
